BLUE / YELLOW. Liberated Ukrainian soil

Since 2014, Ukraine’s soldiers have been working to take back every centimetre of the land that belongs to their country. The Lithuanian NGO Blue/Yellow gathers donations and sends drones, helmets, vehicles and other items the soldiers need to Ukraine. So that every day more land there be liberated.

To thank the most generous supporters of Blue/Yellow, we needed to show them the results of their help.

During one of the Blue/Yellow missions to Ukraine, we asked soldiers for a bag of soil from one of the liberated territories in the Donetsk region. When the soil arrived in Lithuania, we poured a symbolic amount into small wooden boxes labelled: “Liberated Ukrainian soil”. As a symbol of hope, in each of the boxes we “planted” a sunflower seed.

A total of 680 of the boxes were presented to the organisation’s main supporters – companies that have contributed more than 10,000 euros.
