At the heart of the brand is a charming mascot inspired by Shōjō (猩々 or 猩猩) — a red-haired, rosy-cheeked sea spirit from Japanese folklore, known for its ape-like features and unwavering love of sake. Sakykla’s visual identity blends the soul of traditional sake culture with a fresh perspective rooted in modern Vilnius. The oval-shaped logo takes its cue from a postage stamp, nodding to the idea that each sip of sake is like a warm greeting from Japan.
